I AM SO ANGRY
|
|
Ok I have to do this because if I don't I'll explode, I
AM SO ANGRY at haitian young people.
This month I got an e-mail with pictures of carnival chariots,
with men and tight tank topped girls dancing on them, like
we really have something to
celebrate!
This month the gourde went up to 56 gds for 1 US dollar
and is still going up! People $11haitian for $1US.
This month a member of the senate had been charged for the
murder of Jean Dominique, but he has political immunity on
his side. The Lavalas government is so corrupt and it does
not respect it own words.
Police violence, political assassinations, random murders,
arbitrary arrest, and wrongful detentions are daily events
that we have become insensitive
too.
So the government is apparently unwilling or unable to address
any of the county's chonic ills, but OOOOHHH they can give
us a CARNAVAL? and like idiots we're !!!?? YEAAAAHHH my family
and friends are back home they can't eat, their lives are
treathened every day, the chimeres are running the country
but I want to whine???
In Haiti, the murder rate is estimated to be 10-12 deaths
per week, when will someone give a damn when your mother
or father gets shot for her/his car on her/his way to work?
When your brother/sister/cousin/friend goes out to a party
and gets killed by a chimere or a police officer?
This year lets BOYCOTT the carnaval. If We,our family and
friends back home don't go trust me there will be a big difference.
Contact artists,
organisers, friends and family and talk to them.
THE SMALLEST THINGS CAN MAKE THE BIGGEST DIFFERENCE.
WE, HAITI'S PEOPLE NEED TO GIVE A DAMN ABOUT OUR COUNTRY,
WE NEED TO DO SOMETHING.
WE HOPE THE WORLD WILL HELP US BRING DEMOCRACY TO HAITI.
WE'RE NOT AFRAID OF GANGSTAS, TYRANS OR ANYTHING!!
PASS THE WORD.
Sorry, I cannot sign my name, otherwise I will be killed
by LAVALAS thugs.
Yesterday was Poverty.
Today is Misery.
Tomorrow is Agony.
That's why it's called ARISTIDE.
